I'd rather be an old mans sweetheart...

From now on 20th of February will always be Candi day. Liverpool Philharmonic was the perfect location to see the legendary Candi Staton. Her voice gives me goosebumps. The performance was flawless and she's still got it. The playlist included Suspicious Minds, Stand By Your Man, In The Ghetto and my favourite, I'd Rather Be An Old Mans Sweetheart Than A Young Mans Fool.

CAB 757

I'm starting a collection of cab numbers, 757 is just for starters. I'm going to call the project 'Black Cab'. This idea was born out of a scary cab ride home when I decided to take a pic of the cab number just in case it was needed as evidence after the driver spooked me a little.

Sefton wind farm

They have set up new wind turbines on Sefton dock. I love these things. I find them very soothing and relaxing to watch.

Tempbot

Its an oldie but still a goodie. I recently lost all my bookmarks so I have been trying to retrieve them and stumbled across this beautiful piece of film. I had forgotten all about it. Its a sweet tale of a robot that gets hired to temp at an office.
