Its an oldie but still a goodie. I recently lost all my bookmarks so I have been trying to retrieve them and stumbled across this beautiful piece of film. I had forgotten all about it. Its a sweet tale of a robot that gets hired to temp at an office.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkof-BxoLM0

The snow seemed to just skim Mossley Hill and missed out the rest of Liverpool on NYE. Made our little town look very cute and festive.

I can't believe how fast its come around again. What a year! Lots of travelling, catching up with old buddies, meeting some great new people, heart aches, heart attacks, all of the above.
I'm listening to the Sufjan Stevens Christmas album to get into the Christmas mood. You can download some of the songs here:

The Christmas party was in Manchester this year which was a great location. It was held at the Great John Street Hotel which was very posh. I stayed in a room there and didn't want to leave. The day after was really sunny so I walked through town and did some shopping. Found this capital 'F' building which was just one of the more interesting pieces of architecture in the city.
One of my colleagues at the party was wearing a great shirt. It was a collection of romance novel book spines and on the cuffs was a full cover. It was pretty amazing.See more of the Manchester bash at the following gallery:
