Where did they all go?
Its hard to imagine that just beyond those barricades there used to be row on row of terraced houses. This area was on the direct route on my walk home from school, some of my best friends lived in these streets. The first boy to ever break my heart lived here. In fact I did often wish for this scenario but he was usually under the rubble when I thought about it. It was really sad to see the community in this state. Where did all the people go?
This was the last house standing on Humphrey Street where my mate Julie Kier lived. Lots of good memories.

Flickr ur itunes

Sky Blue Sky

Yes we can!
After 5 and a half months of training the big day finally arrived. Liverpool Ladies 10k run at Sefton Park. Made it round in 1hr 16mins - not too shabby for first attempt. New York marathon next? AS IF!! Couldn't have done it without my trainer/pal/boss Natalie who pushed me all the way.
I'm totally pooped now in desperate need of a massage, jacuzzi, pampering... all of the above.

Grown your own man
My young friend Frank and I decided it was time I got myself a boyfriend. After searching far and wide we arrived at the conclusion that no man exists that could meet the high standards we expect. So we started to grow our own.
All we needed was a glass of water and to wait 72 hours for the perfect specimen of boyfriend. We included two models in the experiment just incase one failed.
